Designed for a student of history to house his most-prized belonging – his books – this one of a kind reduced house design of 850-sq.-ft., complete with a composition studio and library, is the ideal spot to sit, study, read, compose, listen to music or simply unwind among the trees here in Long Island, New York.
"The building was imagined as an alterable vicinity in the scene," says designer Andrew Berman. The home's strange copper-clad veneer mirrors the continually changing shades of nature. A straightforward, wood-confined glass entryway opens to the Angular house arrangement.
Calculated out are the north and south exteriors of a regularly extending inside that is overwhelmed with regular light through the expansive windows all through. The twofold tallness passage prompts the kitchen and restroom, and the working and excitement zones at the read of the home.

"The inside is characterized by douglas fir, books and light," clarifies the engineer. Stairs pave the way to a cantilevered second floor, nine ft. over the ground sitting above the treetops of the woodland. This overhanging upper floor gives a made progress floor yard – an extraordinary spot for outdoors.
